“My experience with Lori was all-around wonderful! She absolutely blew away any expectations I had and I honestly made the right choice in choosing Lori as my midwife. I came to her when I was 5-6 months pregnant because my OBGYN was not providing the care I desired. I was tired of waiting over one hour to see my doctor for a 10 minute check-up and many times feeling like I was just another number. After meeting with Lori in the initial consultation I was sold! Lori’s beautiful personality shone through and more importantly her love and passion for midwifery and patient care. I can happily boast about her prenatal care because it was excellent. She began on time and spent time reviewing things like the importance of nutrition and supplementation, things to look for at each stage of pregnancy, expectations and preparedness for a home water birth and most importantly, answering boat loads of questions.

One example of her excellent care was when I was diagnosed with Anemia. My previous doctor prescribed Iron supplements that were harsh on my stomach and really didn’t say much about the condition. Lori on the other hand first educated me about anemia then made the appropriate nutritional recommendations. Within one month the problem was solved as she had predicted and I experienced zero discomfort throughout the process.

This is just one example of her professionalism, knowledge and excellent patient care. In my short time with Lori I learned more about pregnancy than with my OB in 6 months! My husband and I credit Lori for my healthy pregnancy and delivery of our beautiful baby girl Sofia. I can go on and on about my experience with Lori as my midwife because it truly was a blessing to have her on my side for the birth of my first baby.”
